Zorg_DK Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 could my hp 3650 printer print the .pfd manual if i put two pages on each paper?? i have no idea how much the two cartridges (one black and one color) are good for. it would then be 383/2= 191,5 pages. CAT_101st Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I have a canon ip2600 I did the GUI with 1 1/2 balck cartridge in grey scale. and the first 3 chapters of the flight manual in color 2more. So depinding on the size of your cartridges I would say 4 - 6. It will be cheaper to wait for the printed manual to come out and buy it. Zorg_DK Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 Thanks a lot. So you estimate it might take 4-6 cartridges to print that sucker. Yeah, I'll rather buy it from ED then. I hope it becomes available soon in Denmark. "There are only 10 types of people in the world — those who understand binary, and those who don't." [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

iRocco Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 copyshop prices in my country are like 7cent for a DINA4 page, so assuming its readable enough to have two pages on one DINA4 page, the manual would cost me 13,40€, dont know if thats worth it...
Gibbon Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Considering some people here are willing to pay the same price for the manual as they did for the game (more money than sense imo, seeing as all of us already have a copy of the thing), i'd say the price you're being quoted is very good.

Feuerfalke Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 you can't do it while flying ;) and you gotta read something while you'r taking a crap =D I have also difficulties marking passages on the monitor and they don't help finding important passages later on. This solution also is useless when I take the monitor with me for reading in the sun or before going to sleep. Zakk Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) you can't do it while flying ;) and you gotta read something while you'r taking a crap =D You need a 2 screen setup to have the manual open while flying (I hope you don't drink and fly also). You will need a portable wireless laptop/notebook to take into the crapper! :Flush: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/437109/lavatory_accident/ Edited March 23, 2009 by Zakk Gigabyte|Q6600|8GB DDR3|GTX285|Win7 64|X-65
