I use DCS with a Meta Quest 3 headset for VR. I've found Oculus Tray Tool works in the past for changing the FoV numbers. I'd see the black bars making a smaller box. Now, no matter what values I set, I can't seem to get it to work. I have tried restoring factory settings, saving, with and without a separate DCS profile, restarting the service, and of course rebooting. Nothing seems to get the reduced FoV back.

Anyone had the same problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

PS. Do the rest of my Oculus Tray Tool settings look OK? Anyone had a good experience setting ASW mode?

No any issue with OTT for me. What I can advice - FOV 0,5 is very small, maybe is too big? Im using 0,85 and its ok  for me (both settings). On the second screen I see empty settings summary page, you have to use Edit option, put your settings and save it. Btw. Do you use the OTT as admin or not? Try different way.

Two things...

Are you using Oculus Link or Virtual Desktop? If Virtual Desktop, the OTT settings will have no effect as it only controls the settings for Oculus Link.

You can test if the changes have taken place by loading the Oculus Debug Tool after making the changes in the OTT. You should see the same settings in the ODT. For example, change the FOV Multiplier to 0.85 for both horizontal and vertical and click save. That should immediately change the settings in Oculus. Now load up the Oculus Debug Tool and you should see the same values in the FOV-Tangent Multiplier section.

If no changes are seen in the ODT, then try changing them in the ODT and see if it takes effect in the headset. If that works, try running the OTT as administrator as it may not have the right privileges to make changes to the registry.

Are you sure? It's not on the list of services on my machine.

Sorry. When I said the service, I was referring to the 'Oculus VR' Service which is started and stopped through the OTT tool.

Thank you all. I have done a full reinstall of my Oculus and OTT, including Admin first run of the OTT. Works like a dream now.

I suspect at some stage I'd tried to run it as my normal non-Admin user, and it got itself tied in knots.
