Seriously, somebody must find out what is the problem with the 2.9 update. If you want help we will need to see your dcs logs and dxdiag, its the only way to look for clues thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Also your cpu is on the lower end scale and probally not overclocked I would say that could be a factor. Also I noticed a big FPS reduction with 2.9. so I would say 2.9 has an issue of some sort now wether that is because of added features or whatnot IDK but something is amiss. Also I noticed you have your Hz of your monitor to 165Hz, if possible can you lower that?? Not sure if it is the same with monitors as with VR headsets but whast I noticed in VR headsets is if you do not maintain FPZ above your set HZ rate Stutters will happen especailly when looking out at the side. now I am pretty sure similar effect with monitors.. Not sure what could be done but if you are unable to hold 165FPS you will get what appears as stutters.. IF you can post your DCS Settings please. I would try lowering some of those settings. oh and kill secondary shadows.. if you hold your mouse cursor over each object you will see what affect it has on your PC. most of those I think are CPU based ones.. About your XMP Profile??? Tigh Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 It's shadows in 2.9. Locking your frames can help to an extent.

hawa0835 Posted December 7, 2023 Author Posted December 7, 2023 Maybe I have solved some problems. I have changed the Nvidia driver back to 537.13 from 546.01 I have changed from MT to ST No big stuttering so far, and I fly with my old settings above.
