Hello,
I got the campaign some time ago, and recently found some time to invest myself into the A10 (which I have even longer)
just yesterday I finished the BFT10 qualified (that was a bumpy ride for sure), so now I have some questions.

I learned to use and love the amplified checklist, but the first question arises with the engine start procedure.
During the engine start up Point 5 and 9 in the checklist refer to the Idle RPM. The caution section is advising to have the throttle firm against the idle stop for the test to be valid.
I can't find any description of the test in the manual and I'm not quite sure what is supposed to be done here
Just check the Idle RPM after the engine start cycle is done or do the whole IDLE MAX IDLE in 2sec for each engine?

Another thing was the IFR mission, although I'm not a real life aviator I do remember that under IFR conditions the maximum allowed speed is 250kts and the turn bank shouldn't exceed 30° yet I'm have to do rather steep turns and go 260kts so the FE won't yell at me. Is this ruling different for military aircraft or is there something I am missing completely.

Other then that, it is an awesome campaign, which gave me the opportunity and motivation to learn things I wouldn't consider before.

Cheers

Glad you are enjoying the campaign.

For the iDLE test just check the RPM as you indicated.  You can do the IDLE MAX IDLE test if you want but we don't have any triggers that specifically test for that scenario so I would consider it optional.  Make sure you apply the brakes before or you will start rolling.

For the IFR mission I'm not aware of any standards related to military aircraft and assume that they can do whatever maneuvers are needed provided they don't exceed restrictions when carrying stores or aircraft g limits for example.  As combat aircraft they are expected to be flown to their limits when necessary.

Please post further questions or comments and we will do our best to answer them.

I see. To be honest I wasn't worried too much about the triggers but curious how a real life procedure would look like. This specific point for each engine was never mentioned in the manual and finding any sort of information on the web seems to be a gigantic pain in the butt, since apparently everyone is eager to get the bird up as quick as possible. Although I do know that half of the procedures/tests are eyecandy, I would like to perform them anyway (as real as it gets and all that)
