  1. I have a damper kit on my MFGs, without one they just fling back and the rudder input feels rather moosh. With the damper the input feels more solid and more controllable (at least to me) All in one a solution I would suggest for any control input possible.
  2. Well there was deception involved, although I showed the price which didn't include vat and shipping costs. But explaining why a purchase of such magnitude is very important for my very life up in the virtual air, is always lets say.... entertaining
  3. You'd wish you'd be dead... Trust me, I know better.
  4. AFAIK EW is rather a sensitive topic, so getting none classified data on it will be somewhat difficult.
  5. Create a second flight plan with rough coordinates of the 4 waypoints and switch between flight plans to see the boundaries. This knowledge will come in handy sooner or later in this campaign anyway.
  6. Hey thanks for the response I see. To be honest I wasn't worried too much about the triggers but curious how a real life procedure would look like. This specific point for each engine was never mentioned in the manual and finding any sort of information on the web seems to be a gigantic pain in the butt, since apparently everyone is eager to get the bird up as quick as possible. Although I do know that half of the procedures/tests are eyecandy, I would like to perform them anyway (as real as it gets and all that)
  7. Hello, I got the campaign some time ago, and recently found some time to invest myself into the A10 (which I have even longer) just yesterday I finished the BFT10 qualified (that was a bumpy ride for sure), so now I have some questions. I learned to use and love the amplified checklist, but the first question arises with the engine start procedure. During the engine start up Point 5 and 9 in the checklist refer to the Idle RPM. The caution section is advising to have the throttle firm against the idle stop for the test to be valid. I can't find any description of the test in the manual and I'm not quite sure what is supposed to be done here Just check the Idle RPM after the engine start cycle is done or do the whole IDLE MAX IDLE in 2sec for each engine? Another thing was the IFR mission, although I'm not a real life aviator I do remember that under IFR conditions the maximum allowed speed is 250kts and the turn bank shouldn't exceed 30° yet I'm have to do rather steep turns and go 260kts so the FE won't yell at me. Is this ruling different for military aircraft or is there something I am missing completely. Other then that, it is an awesome campaign, which gave me the opportunity and motivation to learn things I wouldn't consider before. Cheers Tech
  8. Find yourself a Co Pilot and do stupid stuff for fun
  9. Did you try to upgrade within the DCS client? When I recently upgraded my A10, the in game shop offered an upgrade for 19.99$, and I was redirected to the web browser where I could upgrade it for the aforementioned amount.
