Vekkinho Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Well, Although it's a weekend I'm up early during last 2 days, I was watching both training on Saturday and race on Sunday and I must say I'm impressed with new rules implied this year. Structural changes really made things interesting, more actual racing than last 15 seasons. I mean, it's Melbourne, rather slow track but we saw so may actual fights on the track than ever before. I'm also impressed with a Brawn GP, very competitive car, the only thing that bothers me about it is pilots that may appear too loose to take podiums constantly. My favorite driver R.Kubica showed some rookie temper today, he should have taken it easy. What do You say, I know there's a lot F1 fans here :smilewink: 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kenan Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I didn't watch it till the end as it was too boring and I just decided to go to sleep. Maybe I just got tired of F1.. Grimes Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Those last few laps of the race were quite intense. The new rule changes they made are going to make it quite interesting. Shrubbo Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 K.E.R.S. !! LOL man that grabbed my interest right there and then. I haven't watched F1 for a long long time because it was quite frankly boring as bat shit. But I happened to walk past the tv when they were explaining kers and I became interested. How many racing games have you played that have had a special "turbo boost" button that had X seconds of boost you could use once per lap and always laughed at something so silly and unrealistic... and then they put it on F1 cars hahah  i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. G3 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 my usual line of thought is f1 is indeed boring as, mainly watched it for the v8supercars. but i have to admit for once i watch the hole race and thought it was quite entertaining, full of incidents.
VMFA117_Poko Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 The big Ross 'The Boss" Brawn amazed me. Great car of Brawn team. It even looks fast while standing. Kudos goes to Jenson too. I've always believed he's a potentional champion. Maybe his time has come... 1
Vekkinho Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Bahrain GP Nice work for Brawn team, other teams seem to slowly catch up on Brawn but Button really won this race in the first lap. Lewis was catapulted on start but when Jensen took over he won! Toyota's made mistake with prime tyre, they made 'em slow and that's probably why they finished 3rd and 7th. Driving after Trulli gives you a poor chance, we all remember Trulli train, heh! BMW, OMG, they better do something about it, I mean Heidfeld is consistent (24 races finished) but Kubica is heavy and tall so with KERS installed fewer are chances for a good car balance. Massa, he blew his chances hitting the Kimi's wheel and crashing his front wing. At least Kimi wasn't damaged in that incident and scored first points for Ferrari this season! I believe Ferrari isn't too happy with Massa's driving! I heard they approached Alonso for 2010! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
VMFA117_Poko Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 BMW is a disaster this year. I'm really surprised by Toyota. They are quick. Brawn, Toyota and RedBull I supose will fight for the championship this season. McLaren can fight back but they are about to loose all their points or even start with a subzero results in Spain after next week hearing about lies given to stewards in Melbourne.
