Viggen DCS training & key bindings

Hi Everyone,

I've just bought the Viggen, my fave plane of the 80's & 90's and the loudest with a single engine.

I'm trying to get through the 11 DCS training courses and am failing at the first hurdle. 

I've not remapped any settings for my X56 & keyboard, but fail at the first option to contact the ground crew on the F8 key. Just checked the default mappings and F8 is no where to be seen. Gutted at the moment, I really do need to fly this bird!  

Any ideas or past expierience would be appreciated!

Are you using track IR or anything similar? Possibly even Discord in the background? You have to change the Keys on Trackir App if they are being used in Game or DCS wont recognize it at all even if it is Binded.. Same if its mapped in Discord I do believe..

can you describe the issue in more detail? So that I can try to reproduce?

the default key for calling up the crew is \ not F8, and you can also use the PTT key binding, on my case I assigned it to the Right Ctrl + P key combination
