Orestd Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 I cannot play Multiplayer because every time 5 minutes or so into the game I get disconnected connection timed out. I have checked my virus and firewall DCS is in the exclusion list. I have restarted my modem fixed the problem for a day then started again. I have no mods at all. I ran DCS repair. Also fixed the problem for a day started again. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this. I uploaded my DCS log file. Thanks. dcs.log

If I join one that's up to date, everything's fine.

Are we talking latest DCS version?

You could go to the main website of DCS, click on your profile and then you should have a button "check server" and then you can enter the name of the server you tried to join. Click on it to expand the view and then check the version number. To see the current version, just check the latest changelog, but it's something like 2.9.2.499XY

Orestd Posted January 4, 2024 Author Posted January 4, 2024 Well I think I may have figured it out. I use VR. I read somewhere someone had the same problem and they disabled the Bluetooth and the problem went away. I tried it disabled my Bluetooth and VR controllers and played flew in multi player without being kicked out once. I will try again tomorrow to make sure this is not a temporary fix.
Orestd Posted January 4, 2024 Author Posted January 4, 2024 Well that worked for about a day. Back to the drawing board

I am under the impression that if you are not running the same version as the host, you simply can't join. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Not in this case. When I check on the website, I was able to join servers that were at 2.9.2.462XY and 2.9.2.499XY. However, it is generally true that you cannot join two different versions, but it seems it isn't the case with this one. 1
