skoiboy Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to loose the force feedback in order to go to a more accurate setup. Has any gone from a force feedback to a regular stick? I don't think I'd be able to live without it. I'm currently using a Logitech Wingman Force (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-963203-0403-WingMan-Force/dp/B00001W01O)
Slayer Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Currently its a trade off....Force feedback with fewer buttons or more buttons and no FFB :/ If I were you I would invest in rudder peddals and [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System Specs Intel I7-3930K, Asrock EXTREME9, EVGA TITAN, Mushkin Chronos SSD, 16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z series 2133, TM Warthog and MFD's, Saitek Proflight Combat pedals, TrackIR 5 + TrackClip PRO, Windows 7 x64, 3-Asus VS2248H-P monitors, Thermaltake Level 10 GT, Obutto cockpit
thereminqblank Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Aye, I started using a Saitek Evo Force but ditched it for a X52 Pro. It took a bit of getting use to trim without force feedback, but I don't regret the move. The X52 has a better feel and more buttons to play with! It might even be better once the patch is released with the new trim option. "Unholy Roller" [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]
