MAXsenna Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 I noticed the slicks keep 60 knots, so if I fly at 60 knots he eventually catches up and all is fine.

Slicks? You are supposed to escort them, at whatever speed they fly, no? Not sure I understand why they need to catch up? Or wait, you're not even escorting them in that mission. Or are you talking about your wingman? Edited January 6, 2024 by Reflected Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

Too bad I'm almost done with this campaign. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Reflected Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 That’s strange. The AI is told to follow you but I have no control over its max speed. 60 doesn’t sound right maybe ED changed something in the code? Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

Nothing to worry about really. I was just curious. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Reflected Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 OK, I tested some simple missions and it seems like a DCS AI helo bug. He does fly faster than 60 though, but tailwind decreases its max IAS which is stupid. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
