cowling ghosting

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I've been going back and forth with support with this issue since 01/02/2024

What I have noticed:
My plane (Pilot plane) prop is fine.
The AI planes next to me are fine until the propeller starts to spin.
The planes already in the air are all jacked up. (mustangs, thunderbolts, broncos etc. any prop driven craft)

I also noticed these planes to have cowling ghosting which was mentioned online while I was trying to find a solution.

Non-working in: (OCULUS QUEST 3)
VR MODES:
Steam VR
Oculus VR
Virtual Desktop VR (Run from Virtual Desktop)

It looks fine in MT Preview Mode.
Adding parameter to run in VR breaks it.

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045)
System Manufacturer: ASUS
Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700K (24 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 65536MB RAM
Page File: 10082MB used, 92571MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
Driver Ver. 564.33

No resolution as of yet but in their (DCS) defense they have been replying in a very  timely manner, as to where I have not been able to reply as quickly as possible because of work etc.

Dear diary...

It is day 6ish and my prop planes are still crapped out. I hope they patch this soon.

please use multithreading version of DCS.

Single threaded DCS version will be discontinued soon.

If you can PM me your support number so I can take a look, but its best to make a new thread for a different issue.

I will split this thread.

Also please note the team are currently on holiday for new years, when they return they will need time to look and fix any issues they can before we consider a patch.

thanks
