PawlaczGMD Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 Bump for this. For me, the problems are, from the most serious to least: -Basket has no real physics, it simply follows the tanker in a fixed position. Not affected by aerodynamics or collisions. I don't think we need damage modelling, but the basket should have a collision model. -If you don't request refueling properly, the basket will have no interaction at all, and the probe will just pass through it. This is especially bad on tankers with dual basket pods, as you have no way of knowing which one is "intended" for you. A real bummer. - The hose also is missing good physics, it looks and behaves in a really basic way. This is mostly a visual problem. 2
grim_reaper68 Posted April 25, 2024 Author Posted April 25, 2024 As so long that there is no other aircraft at the tanker, you will have to use the left one. If it's occupied, then it 's the right one.

grim_reaper68 Posted April 28, 2024 Author Posted April 28, 2024 With which aircraft did you have it?

The fundamental issue is that the basket has no physics model, and the game artificially teleports it onto you probe if you've used the right comms, and that's what should be changed. That I maybe misunderstood the system and tried to hook up to the wrong side once is not the core issue. 3
