TrackIR not recognized

Hi All,

 

I have been getting this problem of my TrackIR not being recognized when i load the BS. I have update from Natural Point the Game updates but only now i am facing this problem. Does anyone else have this problem or is there something im doing wrong. All my connections are good and my drivers are current. Please assist.

If you run Vista with Aero on, test it after switching Aero off.

 

I'm not actually certain that Aero kills it, but I had issues with TrackIR dropping that hasn't ever happened again after I shut off Aero.

 

That's beyond the "obvious" ones like the software having to be up and running before you start BS. I've noticed that if I forget to load TrackIR first it doesn't get recognized. (Solved that problem through using DCSMax to load them and set affinity at the same time.)

Open the "HEAD" preview window. Take a look if TIR tracks your movement. You can have pause on too (go to hotkeys and check it if it's enabled and toggle). Also, once I had to hit the game updates three times until i got it working.

Also make sure that you run TrackIR with the same rights as Black Shark (administrator). And try to remove and plug in again TrackIR's USB connector.
