Maddaawg Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 I've searched this question for an hour and have a headache getting the same AI answer about 2.9 not implementing DX12 features. So, I must turn to the humans, do I need to downgrade from DX12 to DX11, if that's even possible. I know it's supposed to be backwards compatible, but I want to make sure. Solution Flappie Posted January 30, 2024 Solution Posted January 30, 2024 No, you don't need to downgrade anything in order to play. We all have DX12 on our PCs and we can run DCS just fine. DX is indeed backward compatible, which is why you can also play very old games on Windows 11. Here's my rig: 1 ---
