A .miz file type is basically a .zip file. The files you see should be in the .miz file. Did you perhaps unzip the .miz file? If yes, don't do that.

I still stay on Windows 10 about my own PC with DCS World , I cannot check behaviors of Windows 11 + its file explorer by myself, though ....

Windows 11's explorer may automatically extract file list in zip archives and show users them without distinction archived or not ? 

Somewhere option switch exists ? to turn-off the function.
