Livers Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Not my mission, can't recall where it came from. Requires A-10C, don't need to fly anywhere, I just go to the F2 view and let it run. Consistent crash following an onscreen message "Hawgs inbound..." I've tried Low/Medium/High graphics presets, no difference, same crash. dcs.log-20240206-093444.zip FPShellNight.miz

The mission has been created to crash DCS, I can show the team, but I know what they will say, with so many events happening it is going to overwhelm any system. The crash is in the graphics driver C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvmdig.inf_amd64_a3a35b9b20ddd8f1\nvwgf2umx.dll My advice is not to use this mission. 2 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Solution Livers Posted February 6, 2024 Author Solution Posted February 6, 2024 (edited) OK, reducing the Smerch count from 40(!) to 10 makes it doable here. Edited March 6, 2024 by Livers
Livers Posted October 3, 2024 Author Posted October 3, 2024 And with the latest update to 2.9.8.12140, the mission in my OP runs now without crashing! With the caveat that FPS does drop to single digits at several points. So well done ED on performance improvements this patch.
