I've just finished the campaign, and I really liked it. It gives a good mix of combat and civil (Mi-8) missions to play. The civil missions are not that easy, as they can require really precise landings in bad weather. All the triggers, dialog, etc, worked for me, which is something to be mentioned with DCS campaigns. The voice acting is of good quality, and the writing and story are reasonable.

Some things that could be improved:

-The briefing is often not written very well. I found it confusing, and it was not giving me enough information on what the plan of the mission is. In missions with more complicated plot, I sometimes had no idea what's going on. The kneeboards could also give you more info, and the maps are in Russian only.

-The music doesn't really work for me. It is playing too often, and cuts off with the dialog. It could be nice to play it during moments where not much is happening, once or twice per mission. I know you can tune off the radio, but still.

- As for comms, to add some things to do, especially in the civil Mi-8, it would be nice to implement "real" comms - you have to be tuned to the right radio and frequency to progress the plot?

-I would like a few more Mi-8 combat/CAS/CSAR missions. We did enough safe landings already!

- A few bugs I've noticed. The first 2 or 3 Ka-50 missions don't have satellite navigation enabled. Unless it's intentional? My wingman was not armed in the penultimate mission, and even if I selected a loadout from the ME for him, he refused to attack datalink targets. This is probably DCS AI beyond your control, but check the loadout? He also did nothing in the last mission...

Spoiler

- The scripted events where you're shot down can be a little cheap. Especially the first time. The controller tells you to eject, which fails the mission. If you're going to force this, I would suggest you make the controller tell you to take a reasonable altitude before, so it's more fair for when the player doesn't expect it and can't avoid it, and tell you to autorotate instead. I was flying low to avoid this exact situation.

Oh sir! I'm glad it went more or less well for you!
The thing is, this is my first campaign. My first project. And there are many problems with translation into English, primitive dialogues, and an inaccurate briefing.

Navigation on the Ka-50 stopped working after several DCS updates to newer versions. 2.5 to 2.7, and then to 2.8
Apparently you need to go to the Lua file and look for the reason there. I didn't turn off navigation on purpose!
Thanks for your feedback! I wrote down your comments and will correct them! Although there are some fundamental functions that I will not be able to fix - it is a matter of completely reprogramming the mission. Music, informative dialogues.

I wanted to make the passage of missions more native, so that the player listens to the crew.
In general, my goal then was this: Call of Duty in DCS.
That's why this campaign looks like this.

I would like to invite you to play my campaigns in order
Crew.Part-1
MAD for Huey and Gazelle
MAD JF-17 if you fly it
MAD AH-64D
MAD KA-50

Each campaign is improved in quality compared to the previous one. And they are not alike. You will find a lot of interesting things for yourself!
The MAD series, for example, is a series of more than 35 missions about the beginning of World War 3 on a map of the Persian Gulf.
Crew-1 part is a very complex Mi-8 campaign, with the peculiarities of operating the Mi-8 in polar conditions.

I'll be glad if you like it!
And very soon my new series of campaigns for the map of Syria will be released, based on the real events of the Syrian war.
You will be able to see the chronology of events from 2012-2018 and take part.
First part for Mi-24P

Just to chime in. I believe there is a way to play multiple sound files simultaneously now, through a "mod" that gets incerted directly into the missions.
Cheers!

I'm not sure if this could improve the game engine itself. But thanks for the tip!
The game has 2 sound channels that can work independently of each other - radio messages and SOUND TO EVERYONE (coalition, group)
Can the mod add another channel?

Maybe I remember wrong. I'll try to find the thread.
