Greetings all, doing my best to join the world of flight sim but having a bit of trouble

Installed Stable from e-store

purchased F16 module from e-store

not showing in module manager

Googled around for a few days

uninstalled Stable, installed Open Beta

F16 module still not showing

ran a repair, no joy

Can someone tell me what stupid, nooby thing I’m doing wrong, please?

Meanwhile I’ll try and work my way thru X-56 setup.

Thank you

EDIT

OK, It seems I need to login when the sim begins to load. Problem is, I get “invalid user name or password” every time I attempt to log in. I know both are correct, I am logged into the forums and ED home page.
Now what?

hello. while reading the beginning of your post, the credentials being mismatched was my guess.

ensure the credentials you used to purchase are the same as the game profile? they have to match and be correct. it is possible that you do not have the same account in the forums.

Credentials were indeed the problem. I discovered 10 minutes after I posted.

Whenever I booted up the sim I skipped the login because I got the “login name or password” incorrect error. And, I knew both were correct as I was logged into the e-store. I could still fly in my nooby way so not a big deal. Until I made my first purchase.

I closed all open instances and changed my password from the Apple generated one, with all the dashes (-) to another, non-dashed PW. All’s good.

Thanks for the reply’s.
