Neither DCS or MT will launch since update to PC

The other day there was a "Cumulative update" to windows (23H2 i think) and i also recently updated my Nvidia drivers (551.52), but now when i try launch DCS, both normal & mt, the nvidia splash comes up, then the DCS 15 years splash comes up, and then the game just crashes.

Ive attached the log file, from "savegames/dcs/logs", but as the game never actually launches, i dont know how helpful it is!! While in there i did notice a "dcs.log.old" file, should i perhaps delete that? i also attached the windows version im now running.

Systems a 13700kf, 32gb ddr5, rtx 3090, nvme ssd

Hi 

are you using vr and oculus? 

Oculus public test channel driver is currently crashing DCS, please untick and roll back the driver. The issue is reported to the team who will investigate what oculus has changed.

Oculus VR user and the last PTC update (V63) is producing a conflict with DCS. The workaround is to go back to v62

I do have a quest 2, but tbh dont really use it, but the oculus software is on my PC, so i just turned the headset on then, and its asking me to update TO v62, so i guess im on v61 still?? might try remove oculus all together

So i uninstalled Oculus software and the oculus tray tool, then the game started straight up, so something buggy there!! which obviously effects older software too !! Thanks for the help Newy !!
