havebug Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 Occasionally, when I respawn in the Tomcat (A or B), the Trim keep pushing backward/forward. I try to recenter with the controls (hat switch of my FFB Rhino) but as soon as I release the button, the AC seems ignoring the input and keep pushing the stick. This happenes several times expecially when I respawn on the ramp with engine on. I have to reboot DCS to restore a good functionality. I monitored the events and it works like this: 1. After take off: with full AB, the trim start pushing backward. 2. At high altitude, at very low speed and high pitch angle, commanding the trim nose down, it keeps pushing down even I release the button. anyone with the same issue?
RustBelt Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 You may have a conflicting binding somewhere. When you say “trim” do you mean the “trimmed center” or do you mean the actual numerical value the sim has for the trim itself? That is to say, where it’s putting the little trim mark on the control input popup. Or where in DCSBios it’s outputting a numerical trim value. Also are you using the Rhino’s own FFB or DCS’s DirectInput FFB? If the answer is both, that could also cause an issue like that. 1
Schlomo1933 Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 (edited) if u are on the ground. Pls be shure ur Autopilot is NOT engaged. With weight on wheels the autopilot try’s to trimm itself pls provide a track with control indicator on (btw. I also use the rhino and have no issues) Edited March 7, 2024 by Schlomo1933

Not external program... just the DCS direct input. On 3/7/2024 at 7:31 PM, Schlomo1933 said: if u are on the ground. Pls be shure ur Autopilot is NOT engaged.
