I’m not blaming you at all. I’ve said that I am unable to break it through normal use and I have demonstrated it. Here’s a 12 inch drop onto a metal plate. I can’t break it from that height and it can withstand at least 4kg of weight.

My Movie.mov

Then mine was defective, because it dropped from near the top of my stick and landed in the corner where my extrusions meet. With epoxy on the tab, it does fit nicely now.

Hey, fellow pilots!

The Slugmouse has had some upgrades! It now sports white logos down each side, and each Slugmouse is also keyed L or R in white on the back so you can quickly work out which one goes on which hand. The lower ring piece is now printed separately so that the filament runs the length of the tang rather than across it, which significantly increases the resilience of the Slugmouse.

Hey Y'all. Got my slugmouse today, first off @slugheadwas a pleasure to deal with, especially my pain in the ass.

Secondly, everything was smooth, and professionally packaged. I'll add some pics now, I plan to do a rather indepth video review in the coming week or so. Initial impression, feels great, ease of use on the buttons is simple, yet requires some conditioning. HTTC was pretty much plug and play, didn't do anything besides download, pair the controllers and it works. Not sure if there is more I need to do other than the Lua file for the hand controllers which was 2 seconds each. Otherwise, I tried the speed of using my mouse vs the slugmouse and without any training and clearly not quick at this yet. I was twice if not 3 times as fast with the slug mouse... plus IMMERSIONS 😄

Hey, fellow pilots and Slugmouse users! If you are having problems in DCS when the Slugmouse wakes from sleep,  be sure to "disable hot plug" in DCS settings > controls. Failing to do so will introduce stutters or severe pauses in the gameplay when the Slugmouse, or any other game controller, keyboard, mouse, etc., wakes from sleep.

I've been getting a minor stutter when I wake them up, I'll check to see if this is set correctly.

Me too, and this 100% corrected it for me, zero stutter for me now. Huge change for me.

After 2 weeks of using the Slugmouse, I made a little video getting more in depth of using it.

I was looking at Pointctrl and even submitted an order, before discovering on his Discord that he's currently still fulfilling orders from 2022. Lol.

So, Slugmouse. The 'problem' there is Pimax, who couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery, have been "out of stock" for months of their integrated Ultraleap module and I see no reliable way of attaching the native one to a Crystal headset.

That's a great demonstration of the Slugmouse! It really does make a huge difference to be able to interact with the cockpit without needing to reach out for a mouse or VR controller.

Ok. So, when I had an Ultraleap with my HP G2, I had a couple of options. First, I bought a clip-in case with the Ultraleap and attached it to the headset with double-sided tape. Later I decided to take a GoPro attachment and hot melt glued it to the back of the clip-in case. I was then able to stick a GoPro mount to the top of the headset and then attach the Ultraleap case with the adaptor to the mount.

If you can find an stl file to mount the Ultraleap to your Pimax, I will print and supply it at no extra charge with your Slugmouse order.

Thanks Slughead. Do I need Ultraleap though? If I use my head in VR to point the cursor, can I not activate the function with your gadget?

Yes, that is also an option while you wait for Pimax to get their act together.

Ok, so Ultraleap is just a nice immersion-factor (visible hands), Slugmouse works just as well without it. 🙂
