Hey guys, I run a small coop server from my apartment on an extra PC, I got a few people asking for the missions. So I figured, maybe some might enjoy them here too.

You can download them here:

http://www.quirkitized.com/wp/?page_id=86

Each mission has lots of targets and waypoint goals you need to clear before you can activate next waypoint. Some are really easy, a couple might be a little harder. But overall, they are good fun missions, and some mission you gotta get use to using your UB-13 rockets :).

You can fly these without 8 people, typically 4 is a good amount, as there are lots of targets(usually), 8 is better. Hope you enjoy.

It's fixed now, sorry for mishap. Hope you enjoy, and hopefully now that game has gone "retail" we will see more "COOP" servers. I enjoy coop more than pvp for some reason with BS.

Co-op is what Multiplay is all about IMNSHO :)

Downloaded them and will play them when LAN time comes around or after the patch comes out and we get back to flying again.

I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to hosting maps...

how do I load these maps up? I see they are compressed files and when I unzip them, blackshark doesn't recognize them.

Do I need to use servman to load them somehow?

Thanks...

Unzip them to the Multiplay folder in Black Shark and then go there when hosting and click on the .miz mission to play it.

Windows reads the .miz as compressed MIDI files, theres no unzipping needed and such. Just simply place them in this folder (if you have vista, XP is same, just not x86)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Missions\Multiplayer

And as dusty said, simply select the the mission when you host from your multiplayer folder.

Also, as far as servman, you do not need them to load missions. Servman is just a stand alone mod that helps run a "hands-free" server, with options to kick, rotate maps, etc. If your going to run a MP server, I HIGHLY suggest it! Great addon!

hmm, that is strange. When I unzip the files there are no files with the extension .miz. None of them have file extensions and all the missions files are simply called "mission".

For example, in the compressed file "City Sweep.zip" I see the following files:

cityswee[{61B533C3-8072-4e67-911D-18C9A22F249C}.jpg

mission

options

My windows explorer is set to show extensions. When opening blackshark and pointing to the location I unzip the files to, it does not recognize them as a compatable format.

Are the downloads messed up? Every single one of them looks quite similar.

Thanks for your help...

Mack, please refer to my post above. You just simple download the missions to your black shark mission folder, and then when you go to host a game, you simply just select the mission you want to play.

There is no using zip, no extracting, nothing like that. You just simply download the mission to your folder and select it when you host :)

Put the .miz file (it contains all files for the mission: options, mission, jpg, etc) in missions folder.

Okay, got it...

For some reason my machine put a .zip extention on the files when I downloaded them... Renamed them to .miz and all is well now.

Can't explain that...

Maybe it's a windows 7 thing, as I'm running the beta build 7000 64 bit edition.

Anyways, it's working now.

Thanks all,

Mack
