dresoccer4 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Is there a key telling us the meaning of different colored smoke coming out of damaged planes? Looking to better understand the visual damage model currently in place. Wasn't sure if there's official info on these sorts of things Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules

White smoke is water (actually steam escaping and then condensing), while fuel is a blue-ish spray. Black is either an oil leak or a fire. If it's thin it's oil, if it's thick, it's probably a fire (in most cases you'll see the flames, at least in DCS). 1
