DAZnBLAST Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 (edited) As per the subject, what is that weapon being fired at 1:28? Is it like a mini HARM, it goes for that vehicles radar. Floyd1212 Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 That looks like a TOW missile. Wire-guided, not anti-radar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BGM-71_TOW 1
Floyd1212 Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 After looking at it again, maybe a Chinese HJ-10, based on the square shape of the launcher? Looks like some footage from some other ATGM found its way into that video.
ED Team Raptor9 Posted April 1, 2024 ED Team Posted April 1, 2024 It's the Spike NLOS missile, which has been used by Israeli AH-64's and has been recently acquired by the US Army. 2 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
JetCat Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 I will probably add that to the wishlist because it reminds me of the R9X.....

This has been asked for in the past, and the Spike NLOS is not planned as it has only recently been purchased by the US Army. The DCS AH-64D is from the 2005-2010 era, but more precisely the 2006/2007 timeframe. 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
