LimePartician Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 I was checking my ED folder and saw that it is 228GB null Anyone got any ideas? Is this a bug? I have like 3-4 modules
kitten40 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Mine is 573GB, so I'm assuming not a bug.. I have all terrains installed as well as probably 3/4 of the modules .. virgo47 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Terrains are by far the biggest chunk, check how much Mods\terrains is of those 228 GB. 1 L-39, F-4E, F-5E, F-14, F/A-18C, MiG-15, F-86F, AJS-37, C-101, FC2024 Yak-52, P-47, Spitfire, CE2 UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50 III, SA342 NTTR, PG, SY, Chnl, Norm2, Kola, DE Supercarrier, NS430, WWII, CA VKB STECS+Gladiator/Kosmosima+TPR DCS Unscripted YouTube "Favourite" bugs: 1) Object local camera fast/slow inverted, 2) Yak-52 toggles not toggling, 3) all Caucasus ATC bugs
Solution Art-J Posted April 4, 2024 Solution Posted April 4, 2024 You might take a look if you've got folders called _downloads and _backup located in your root DCS folder and if there's any trash left there (leftovers from failed update process and from modded files being replaced with stock ones respectively). Other than that, however, 228 GB is pretty small size for DCS and not unusual if there are any maps amongst these "3-4 modules" of yours. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
