The Harrier is one of my favorite aircraft and this is of some concern for me. In the worst case scenario that RB leaves the DCS universe, is the AV-8 going to remain being maintained, or are we going to eventually lose the aircraft? Does the promise that the F-15E's development continuing extend to maintenance of other modules by RB?

Is there a promise to keep the F-15 development? From whom? As far as I know if Razbam abandon ship, all of their modules will be affected: F-15E, Harrier, Mirage 2000, etc. If ED decides to keep updating and improving would be a nice thing, but I don't believe they'll do that. They've already have their own modules to worry about.

So, I don't see any new updates or maintenance being done on the modules we already own. They'll eventually stop working with time.

But I also believe that the community will find a way to giving them an extended life.

Unfortunately; I had a feeling this would happen given the VEAO fiasco.

Post VEAO ED are supposed to everyone's source code, so tbh my expectations is they will keep modules reasonably sort of kind of functional but not really develop or update them. Same deal as e.g. the F-86, F-5 et al.

F-86 and F-5 were developed by Belsimtek that was more or less ED branch. There is no similarity to the current situation.

where did we hear that RAZBAM was bailing on DCS?

N/M, found it. Too bad, I like their modules. I'll never buy anything from RAZBAM (or whatever name they change to in the future) for any other product, ever, if this is the case.

Hope they figure it out. Ready to buy the Mig-23 (need that and the 17 to finish my MiG collection) as soon as released, bought every other module of theirs. Would be sad. But I don't like being used as leverage by anybody, for any reason.

Bah, politics....'aint got time for that. Gonna enjoy the modules while I can.
