Guns in f18 are not usable any more. It  is always alighned with small crosshair wich you got when first select Mk82 (for example) and gun in parallel (HOT Gun mode-fixed 2000ft gun cross).

When you enter pure GUN CCIP, reticle is not aligned/ calculated, and gun is fireing in direction of same small crosshair (HOT Gun mode-fixed 2000ft gun cross), but now not visible since that we switched to pure GUN CCIP mode. Changing ammo type, turning of a/g +safe and restarting AG+ARM does not help

is there a chance to fix gun in f18 for the next update?

@BIGNEWY Sincere apologies for belated reply,

Before I make track (I think I'm able to reproduce it quite well), let's clarify VR head position reset.

- UI menu..recenter VR, bind to HOTAS, and up to necessity doing position reset. Obviously, before testing I did room calibration of VR headset (just in case). If it is wrong, please let me know the right procedure. TiA.

On the other side, before graduating and post graduating on topic tightly correlated to the subject of DCS as game/sim, I used opto-electrical projection systems (like HUDs, reflex collimated, holo) on a daily basis for around a decade. Head position, up to my humble experience/knowledge, should not affect PoA/PoI correlation. Maybe in DCS it is a different ball game? Pls let me know.

Regards,

Alex

P.S.

After agreed VR head pos. reset procedure, I will make a track/video. If it helps, pleasure will be all my.

An update,

I did some comparison between screen projected and track collected data. There is huge discrepancy between what was projected in real time during the play and what is collected as a track.

Well, in real time game play, a/g gun is off (poa and poi discrepancy). In the track they have been perfectly aligned. Best way to reproduce behavior and capture the discrepancy is to make parallel video of gameplay and track replay.

Please let me know.

BR,

Alex
