MIP display orientation shift in Open Beta

Hello guys and girls,

I have an issue with the orientation of the display and the MFD setup on the OpenBeta 2.9.4.53549. The previous OpenBeta was also affected.

In the stable everything works as it should. SimAppPro is version 1.13.0. Is there a way to solve the issue?

Is winwing selected in the monitor settings

Yes, under monitor settings I have "winwing" selected. But when I go back to SimAppPro it says that the monitors are not properly configured. When I hit apply and restart DCS monitor settings are on "1 monitor".

You say you're running both DCS and beta - is that necessary now?

If so do you have the paths set correctly in the Simapppro options - maybe its only updating the monitor set up for one install. Try removing the path for the version you don't want to use.

[Ultimately I'd recommend forgoing SAP for monitors and moving to Helios. It will take a day to set up but once comfortable you can control the monitors better,  and also stick the DED as on overlay on your main monitor for your sick button box, RWR etc]

There is only one version of DCS now so set your paths in options to reflect that. Also follow my tutorial above to ensure you have set everything in Windows and Simappro correctly

My squadron uses the stable for regular training and the open beta to test the latest modules or implemented features. That's why I have 2 versions installed. Both are located on a separate 2TB M.2 nvme. So space isn't an issue.

You mean the DED of the F-16 ICP itself? (I got the VIPER MIP set a few days ago)

Paths are set correctly. However the devil is in the details. My Windows display settings and setup for the monitors were different then what your tutorial suggest. Once I put both MFDs under the main screen in the display setup screen the issues for open beta disappeared. Thanks a lot MustangSally
