EtherealN Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Yeah, I really should underscore a bit more that I really don't mean to offend people, it's a joke I saw on a TV show recently and I just found it so witty I couldn't resist using it. I realize it can be a touchy subject though so my apologies if someone finds it offensive, and a happy ovulating rabbit holiday to you all. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
nscode Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 People should learn not to get offended. @hitman: for some it's not a week behind ;) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
EtherealN Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 This does remind me of a thing that's actually almost on-topic though: nscode, I assume from vague memory that Serbia is mainly Orthodox. It would be interested if you would be able to give a quick rundown on what the differences (if any) between Orthodox easter and Protestant/Catholic easter is. I'm fairly well versed in the Protestant easter, being born to a protestant nation (even though surveys indicate about 80 to 85% of us swedes are atheists), but have commited massive personal fail in learning the differences to Orthodox christianity. If put on the stand the only "difference" I would remember off-hand would be that the Pope and the Patriarchs have different clothes and that while the Catholics have this college of cardinals the Orthodox have various Synods. >.< Obviously, only if you have the time and inclination, and it might want to be PM or a different thread since I don't want to intrude on your festive greetings thread more than I already have. :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
