bngtech
My DCS 2.9 standalone crashes to my desktop before a splash screen or anything else loads. It worked fine in the steam version. I uninstalled that version and installed the standalone from the website. I have tried to update and repair, both claim the installation is fine. DCS.exe appears in the taskmanager for about 15-20 seconds but then disappears. Here are the only things that show in the log: === Log opened UTC 2024-05-11 15:55:23 2024-05-11 15:55:22.729 INFO EDCORE (Main): system affinity mask: 111111111111 2024-05-11 15:55:22.729 INFO EDCORE (Main): process affinity mask: 111111111111 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor [1x L3 caches] 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): CPU has uniform cache size 32 MB (per cache) 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): all CPU cores have the same efficiency class 0 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): CPU cores have different performance classes: [0-4] 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): logical cores with performance class 4: {2, 3} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): logical cores with performance class 4: {6, 7} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): logical cores with performance class 3: {4, 5} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): logical cores with performance class 2: {10, 11} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): logical cores with performance class 1: {8, 9} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): logical cores with performance class 0: {0, 1} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): common cores: {10, 11, 8, 9, 0, 1} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): render cores: {2, 3, 6, 7, 4, 5} 2024-05-11 15:55:22.731 INFO EDCORE (Main): IO cores: {} 2024-05-11 15:55:24.740 INFO EDCORE (Main): pause10: 0.015599 us (std dev: 0.080799) 2024-05-11 15:55:24.740 INFO EDCORE (Main): pause10: 521 cycles (std dev: 2205.0) 2024-05-11 15:55:24.784 INFO EDCORE (Main): Created boot pool: n:12 2024-05-11 15:55:24.785 INFO APP (Main): Command line: "D:\Games\DCS World\bin-mt\DCS.exe" 2024-05-11 15:55:24.786 INFO APP (Main): DCS/2.9.4.53990 (x86_64; MT; Windows NT 10.0.19045) 2024-05-11 15:55:24.786 INFO APP (Main): Application revision: 233990 2024-05-11 15:55:24.786 INFO APP (Main): Renderer revision: 24955 2024-05-11 15:55:24.786 INFO APP (Main): Terrain revision: 25070 2024-05-11 15:55:24.786 INFO APP (Main): Build number: 98 2024-05-11 15:55:24.786 INFO APP (Main): CPU cores: 6, threads: 12, System RAM: 65457 MB, Pagefile: 16384 MB === Log closed.
