Gunfreak Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 (edited) The channel map, Caucasus and "that other ww2 Combat sim" have brown dead leaves on their trees in the winter. Tress in winter doesn't really do that. Either they are evergreens like pine and spruce or the tress will be leafless. Not this brown dead leaf thing the channel and Caucasus has. But I agree, hopefully the Kola map will have pine trees with snow on! Not the oaks we have here. They might not drop as easily. But wind and snow takes of the majority of the leaves. Not that there are a lot of oak in northern nordics, 1000 years ago we did have oak forests. But colder temperatures combined with use of oak for ship and house building let the spruces take over.
