A question regarding pitch and roll stick centering forces. I'm a happy new FFBeast owner. I have a TM Hornet grip mounted on an extension such that the moment arm from rotation center to hand position on the stick is about 40 cm. The maximum continuous force at this position is 10 kg.

What is the maximum force / torque of real F-4 control stick in pitch and roll? What about the expected pitch force around landing speed?

With the stock DCS settings the stick forces are pretty light in pitch except from about 350 KIAS, where the pitch spring force becomes quite heavy (which is nice).

Below 250 kts the stick feels basically limp in pitch. It does not have enough force to center itself. Is this realistic behavior?

I use basic DCS (Direct X) FFB, scaled to utilize 100 % of the available 10 kg force on the stick, plus some friction in both axes and a constant* 20% spring in roll axis configured on the FFBeast Commander app.

(*Constant = doesn't change with airspeed)
