Rudel_chw Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 (edited) Hello to all Viggen users, Over the last few months I've been editing training missions for the AJS37 Viggen, set on the Nevada Map while waiting for the release of the Kola Map. Now that Kola has been finally released I intend to port the missions from Nevada, and over these last few weeks I have edited the first three Training missions set on this Map. Two of them are ports from the Nevada missions, while the third (M21) is all new. I will be adding more in the future, but for now I wanted to release the ones I have ready as I will probably take a small break to learn the new F-4E by Heatblur. To install the missions you have two choices: either place them inside /Saved Games/DCS/Missions/ , on any folder of your choosing; or you can save these missions on the DCS Program folder, that way they would appear alongside the built-in training, like this: If you previously had my Nevada missions placed there, the new lessons.lua will take them into account and instead display this training menu: This mission set is compatible with the ones I did for Nevada, and you can have both installed but the Kola set must be installed after the ones from Nevada, which you can download here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3334422/ I will keep adding missions, both ported from Nevada and new, to this small pack, I just need more time to edit them If you detect any issue with my Kola missions, please report it on this thread, with as much detail as you can, and I will do my best to fix any bug. Bugs on the Nevada missions should be reported on the Nevada thread: The User File is now active, you can download these missions here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3338021/ Now, a short listing of the missions: M01 - Abreviated Cold Start Ported from Nevada, this is a video of it: M03 - Taxi & Take-off from an Airbase Also ported from Nevada: I will keep porting more, just need a small resting break Best regards to everyone. Eduardo (Please do not reply on this thread yet, as I'd like to reserve the first few slots, for Weapon Training and for recce missions, thanks) Edited May 24, 2024 by Rudel_chw Added download link 4 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Rudel_chw Posted May 23, 2024 Author Posted May 23, 2024 (edited) Weapons Training: M21 - Rb04E Anti-shipping Missile This is not a ported mission, as on Nevada was impossible to have shipping targets. Here you will train on the employment of the Rb04E missile of the Viggen, against an undefended convoy, you get two player slots: one starting from Rovaniemi airbase, and the other starting already on the air. After the attack, the return to base is optional. Here is a video of it: next mission on this series will be one on the similar Rb15 Best regards, Eduardo Edited May 23, 2024 by Rudel_chw 2 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Pyrocumulous Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 M21 - Rb04E Anti-shipping Missile does not have RB04E missiles installed on the aircraft. For the ground start, that's easy to fix, but not so much for the air start. These are great missions for becoming reacquainted with the Viggen after several years away, thank you 1 Warthog HOTAS, VMAX Prime Throttle, TPR pedals, Kensington Slimblade Pro, Pimax Crystal, RTX 4090 FE, Asus ProArt X670E-Creator, Ryzen 7950X3D, 64gb DDR5.
