SA342 Minigun Variant - Multicrew Probem, Pilot will Crash to Desktop, when multiplayer client joins as Gunner ***FIXED / PATCHED**

no longer an issue...

 

testing under DCS version 2.9.5.55300

went to multiplayer server and one player selects pilot role for SA342 minigun (HOT Start) and when buddy joins as Gunner, the Pilot experiences a Crash to Desktop

Also tested in another server (hoggit training) and selected a COLD start SA342 minigun, the same situation happens. 

we both tired being pilot, and who ever joins as gunner, the pilot role experiences a Crash to Desktop.

me and friend did a multicrew play test this weekend.

i selected SA342 minigun as pilot.

my friend request to join as instructor (copilot)

i confirm request to join.

we both successfully start in SA342 minigun variant and perform startup.

my friend the instructor (copilot) request control to fly, and i accept the request.

my friend the instructor (copilot) successfully takes control of helicopter and flies around.

myself as pilot press keyboard 3 to move over to gunner position....

copilot experiences crash to desktop.

We know the issue, right now we have not other option but to wait until we have more time to resolve this, sorry for the inconvinience.

happy to report that the ctd no long occurs,

i have DCS version DCS 2.9.6.58056

and can successfully allow multicrew gunner request and there is no crash for the pilot.

(hoping the joystick binded axis assignments for minigun slew range will be increased / fix in near future!)
