Romandv Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 (edited) Hello! I hope I posted in the right thread. Half a year ago I noticed that on M2000 when I turn on the red backlight I see square fonts (jagged, if I may say so, as if anti-aliasing is disabled). At that time I thought that the airplane is old, so the fonts are not accurate. While watching M2000 videos on youtube I noticed another guy had the same problem, but it didn't bother him. But when I started flying the F4E the day before yesterday, I was surprised that again - I see the square pixels of the fonts just under red illumination, the rest of my airplanes usually have green illumination. If I turn on the flashlight it becomes fine, and in general I don't have any problems other than this one. What could be the problem? My settings are at max. 7700X + 7900XT + 1440p display. I have updated my video card drivers, the newest ones now. UPD: The green fronts in F4E don't have this problem. I realize that the quality of the screenshots doesn't quite represent what it looks like on the monitor. I'm writing from work now, but I can still see those jagged edges. To be honest, I've tried different settings, I realize it's not aircraft specific, but I couldn't find a solution. I also have 1024, AMD driver 24.4.1. I tried different variants, but the result is the same. To be honest, I think the problem is most likely with AMD drivers, I just can't figure out what the problem is. 7700X/7900XT/1440p 'We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like"(с)

I apologise for the lengthy reply. Thank you so much for your help! I tried your options(in AMD +/- same thing) and other different options, even the most absurd ones, but unfortunately it didn't help. I think it's just terrible AMD drivers(maybe exactly the ones with 7900XT), I have no other assumptions. I decided to just leave it alone. By the way, I see similar(but less) problems in this video: The only thing I've noticed is that it's because of the highlighting of the fonts specifically, not the overall highlighting. I decided to just turn it to minimum and the cabin fill lighting to maximum. This way I don't see any edges on the fonts or they are almost imperceptible.
