[Not a Bug] Drag Chute doesn't refill on landing and re-arm

EDIT - NOT A BUG. WITH HANDLE FULL DOWN, THE CHUTE DOES REPACK

Drag Chute doesn't refill on landing and re-arm. Quite an issue for your second landing when you confidently deploy chute and nothing happens!

It is not necessary to deploy the chute, being such a task to re arm it, if you're going back up ofc.

I forgot about it all the landings after the first one. She stops better than the F-15E, but it is the SE after all.

Hey thanks for the report! Normally it should be rearmed when rearming (what a sentence ) Do you have track by any chance so that we can take a look at it?

I don't, but it is every single time so easy to replicate.

I recently rearmed and the chute got repacked / refilled. At least I thought so because the drag chute door was closed after rearming.
Or could the chute compartment have been empty?! I think the deceleration when landing was realistic.

The Engines were still running. Location: Bodo - Kola. MT Client. Multiplayer.

Will double check on next ocassion.

Did you put the handle down again?
When rearming, left hand from the seat, a large handle needs to put two stages down again.

Thats, what works for me, don't know if its intended to stay up after rearming, but that's what it is.

That sounds quite weird because to be honest it works on my end and for our testers. Never heard that before so a track would be good to have otherwise we can't debug it if we can't reproduce it

Sorry but I thought it worked for you? Ofc you have to put the handle back down after landing to rearm it

@Ian Boys UK pls confirm, you put that handle down again before using the chute again!

Will test. I have it bound to HOTAS buttons so don't do it visually. Will check today.

TESTED - you are right, I was relying too much on my binds. With handle fully down, the chute does repack.
