Maximus Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Hi everyone, im sure some of you guys/gals remembers me as Maximus. Today, I went to best buy and I decided to look at game section and was surprised to see title "DCS Black Shark" on the shelve, I immedately grabbed the box and purchased it, and am excited to see the completed game. (cuz i was beta test from some of time which work has taken alot of my time). Now I am clicking on "install" button and it took almost 2 or 3 minutes to finally launch setup.exe. is anyone experiencing the problem with that? or is it just about my pc? :) Look foward to ya all in flight in Public (finally)!!. EtherealN Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I have had that happen to me, yeah - I ended up with like 5 instances of the setup file running and had to close four. :P That's pretty much the only "problem" I've had with it though and I've no real clue why that happened. If you have a large "Setup.exe" windows likes to trawl through the whole file looking for the icon graphic for the exe. This is particularly noticeable if it is on a slower media like a DVD. I should do same thing to put it on top of row. it was on 3rd row, about 4 copies in stock!!. went into instant action, simiplifed avionics is great for beginneer, I could figure it out (based on my experience). it's awesome on feature for simple mode. nice job!! Now when I get into realistic mode... and I uhhh froget how to start the engine LAMO!. been awhile. but I will pick it up quickly. it almost like riding a bike!!. I kinda of wish it has a keyboard layout inculded. but still I am happy with it, new design. despite of NDA, i am thinking it may be expired. the main screen menu looks so NICE. better than LockOn Main Menu in my own opinion. very nice work donely ED/DCS team. of cousre all software has bug. I.E. slow respond after clicking install button. I am sure it will be addressed in near future. now I gotta to hook up my trackir4 back up. Cya in the sky! Maximus. David Graser.
