Hi.

Is this possible, to buy this campaign and use the trial of the map, to try before you buy. I'm not so interested in the map, but I want a solid tutorial for the A10 which this seems to be.

Are you asking if E-shop will allow you to buy it when you don't have the map installed yet? I'm not sure, though I can't see why it wouldn't.

You can always install the map as a trial first and then purchase the campaign to play it. The game doesn't care how you got the map as long as it's installed and authorized correctly. Just remember that you'll have two weeks to complete the campaign which sounds like a lot but might actually be not enough for more detailed and complex campaigns.

Like Art says, you can. But only for two weeks.
Not sure if the E-Store honors trials when purchasing, that's easily overcome though. Just add the map, and then the campaign. Go to checkout and remove the map, and pay for the campaign.
Cheers!

EDIT: That said. Nevada is a great map, and well worth it, even more during a sale.

I can not click Complete order if I delete the map. I have the map "trial" installed in DCS. So it seems like I have to buy both.

Well, then they changed the store behaviour. Too bad, that's a bummer. It was totally possible to buy campaigns and what not with dependencies before with that trick.
So, I assume the "complete order button" gets disabled when you remove the map from the cart?
Summer sale is coming up, then both DLCs will be discounted.

Yes.

Damn! Some sales person must have read my posts about this trick earlier. Maybe someone can gift it to you?
