DLC's are not authorized (Currenthill, Mods, DLC)

I have been getting the run around on trying to figure out how to download mods for DCS. I am currently on standalone DCS version 2.9.5.55300, and I keep getting a notification for failed authorization when I try to open DCS with the Currenthill mods. I started by trying to do it manually, then used Ovgme to try and get it to work and these notifications keep popping up, and I cannot use them. I've tried all of the troubleshooting techniques suggested on YouTube and in the DCS forums but there doesn't seem to be a workaround for me so far. The OVgme route that I am sending the mods through is C:\Users\*****\Saved Games\DCS World\Mods\tech and the mod is being placed in there properly by OVgme but it doesn't seem to matter if I do it manually or through OVgme or not.

If someone knows a workaround or if this is a common/persisting issue right now please let me know so I can stop pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I am doing Wrong.

Cheers!!!

That’s the correct path, but do check that on a prior attempt the Mod has not been placed on the DCS program path, because if the Mod is in both places at the same time, having it on the DcS program folder will produce that error message.

I don't believe it is in the program files because when I remove the mod from the Mods folder through saved games I do not get the message from DCS about an unauthorized DLC. But I am looking through my files right now to find anything related to DCS in program files, if I find that it is in the I will update this feed.

I finally figured the thing out, when downloading DCS the main program file went into the C:\Users\*****\Saved Games\DCS World\Mods\tech file location, and after 8 hours of searching it were in the search file C:\Users\*****\Searches\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech this is the noncore game file that has the location for being able to add mods. Unfortunately, this took a good part of a day to figure out. No clue why it was placed under searches but I'm hoping this solves the problem completely.
