Stratos Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Those protoypes are amazing! Hope that Thunderwarrior becomes flyable at one point. But I have to add that I just returned from London, where I bought a book for the hype created by @tripod3 Hope you can finish this as flyable and add the B-57 Canberra too, really badly needed planes! tripod3 Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Missiles pulled out of their compartments. Unfortunately, this animation does not work in battle; the doors are only open in the weapon selection menu. 1 hour ago, Stratos said: Those protoypes are amazing! Guest Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Thank you for this awesome mod, tripod3!! Unfortunately, the liveries aren't working for the Tu-128M.
Geschirre Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Use this, adjust accordingly. This is for "USSR 11". Quote livery = { {"Material_0.001", DIFFUSE , "Tu_128_fuz_11", false}; } name = "USSR 11" "A plan is a list of things that wont happen"

Geschirre Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Quote No good. Still not working. Works for me, works for LCO489, works for other people. Could you be less specific? For instance... where did put the lines? "A plan is a list of things that wont happen"
Guest Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) I've tried that method and I've also tried this: livery = { {"Tu_128_fuz_1.dds", DIFFUSE , "Tu_128_fuz_11.dds", false}; } name = "USSR 11" Still no good. I put this in the .lua file for the Livery folder. Edited July 2, 2024 by Bunsen

The encyclopedia is not intended for viewing liveries. But there is a way for you to see them. You go back one step with the left arrow and then back to the Tu-128M. Then you will see the next livery. You can repeat this step as many times as you like until you have seen all the liveries. 1 Windows 11 Enterprise 64-bit processor AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-core processor 3.90 GHz, installed memory 256 GB (256 GB usable), system type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor 2 x NVIDIA RTX TITAN SLI 48 GB vRAM, 3x 2 TB M2 NVMe WDS200T3XHC Raid, 2x 4 TB M2 NVMe Force MP510 Raid, ERM - 3K3U water cooling, gaming motherboard ROG ZENITH II EXTREME ALPHA Monitor 108 cm ACER PREDATOR CG437K 7680x4320-120Hz, power supply 2000 watts

Guest Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Thank you, Urbi! That worked to the point that I can see the drop down liveries. But for USSR 11, the red star doesn't appear. For all the other liveries, I get the green, "No texture". Edited July 2, 2024 by Bunsen
Geschirre Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Quote This is for "USSR 11". You have to change it for every livery. See how "USSR 12" isn't "USSR 11". "A plan is a list of things that wont happen"

It's working for all the liveries now, but the Tu-128M Fuselage DDS files for the version of the mod doesn't have the red stars on the tail or wings. I'll figure it out. Thank you all for all your help.

sinzov Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Hi, @Bunsen ypart of the problems: the naming of the various texture-files is somewhat inconsistent, so you have to make sure each of your description.lua points to an existing file. @tripod your code-lines did the job, my tu-128m.lua was missing the positions for the missiles. thank you, sir.

sinzov Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 maybe this is the wrong thread, but speaking of cold war aircraft - how about a soviet airliner ? the Tu-126 sure would make an excellent one is there a decent way to get rid of all that awacs-stuff of the Tu-126 and to rebuild the aircraft as a Tu-114 ? 5
