Primary Datalink Track Accuracy

I have wondered this since DCS introduced it. The symbol shown on the HMCS display on top of the Primary Datalink Track seems to be always off. It is rarely showing on top of he actual location of the PDT. Is this intentionally done in DCS as maybe the real life system is not 100% accurate, or does it just not work well in DCS? Thanks

Yes. DL tracks have a slow update rate, and resolution. So it's very normal and correct for the track to drift around.

It depends, there is also a bug report in dcs.  

As far as I know the longest in dcs is +12 seconds irl videos show 8 seconds as far as I have seen

 

Oh, I misread, I was assuming PDLT for friendly.
