kendoric2 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I was flying the Kiowa last night and trying to mess with the radio but came across an issue idk if anyone else is having too. From what I understand when you switch radios using the Radio Select Switch should allow you transmit on whatever radio you select, however when I change radios I can see the selected radio on the RFD, but when I try to transmit on the selected radio SRS will not work. It will only work when I change the radio through the transfer selector switch in the communications panel... anyone else noticed this too or am I doing something wrong?
AG-51_Razor Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 I'm having a couple different problems with the radios; 1st off, I can't figure out how to change the radios on the RFD from Manual to Pre-Assigned frequencies and 2nd, I don't get a comms menu on screen when keying the PTT, which is mapped to the trigger on the cyclic. This is all in Single Player without using SRS. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Jenrick Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 You need to bind a key to the frequency change, clicking the button on the cyclic doesn't work right now. I don't think assigning a button works correctly right now either, but a keybind does the trick. Not sure on the PTT, might have the same issue with binding a controller button.

These keybinds are still missing for the copilot though. Jenrick Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 So long as you don't have the same keybinds in use on the copilot side for something different, they'll still work if bound on the pilot side controls. I have U and J bound to increment and decrement the radio channel in the pilot controls. They work just fine on the Co-pilot side so long as I don't bind the U and J keys to anything on that side.
LazyBoot Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 Not really, since those will apply to the radio selected by the pilot and not the copilot. 2

This That's especially problematic if you're playing as the copilot in a multicrew flight. 1 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
