Jowen G. Bruère-Dawson Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Hi, Just noticed that one of my hydraulic circuit runs far too high in pressure. I don't have the CHECK HYD GAUGES warning light but I think that's expected since it's not a pressure drop. I don't see anything in the manual about overpressure. Is it a bug, a random failure, and if it is, what are we supposed to do ? (except check carefuly before take off, I think I checked after right engine start, but not after the left engine start) Thanks
Grundar Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Yeah this is currently occurring on cold starts of the aircraft. If you start the engines opposite order left to right, the left pressure gauge rises to 3800psi and the right gauge is normalised. If you do a hot start, pressures are normal. It's reported in the bugs section. It doesn't appear to affect performance at all, I turned off the 'random failures' option in the DCS options and it still occurs each time. 2
