karasinicoff Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 I knew all DCS modules have different key binding names. Kind of try to understand as there are lots of 3rd party However, this F-16's key maaping is just horrible nightmare. For example I strugged to find the air brake key which is for SPD BRK and for landing gear? is LG handle. Just dont get it, why it makes so difficult to find it? because the developer was easy to type in short? Please do make jobs better, it is just unacceptable.
razo+r Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 They keybind is pretty much the same, it's just the name that is slightly different. For example "G" is gear in every module with a landing gear. Knowing this, just press "G" and you found the gear controls. Same with "B", "LShift+B" and "LCtrl+B" for speed/airbrakes. But other than that yes, typing out basic stuff like SPD BRK would help somewhat. 2
Slippa Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 (edited) I have trouble with a few as well. There are, sometimes in the same module, different descriptions of things or things being given different names. A lot of modules have crazy bindings already set too like toe-brakes set for pitch and yaw. They do catch me out at times and when I was first learning my way around, well, I can laugh about it now but it wasn’t funny . Think there’s another thread on the same point somewhere?
