I was ordered by Whiplash to contact the FAC-A over objective Alpha on UHF 269.600.  The message says to hit space bar once the frequency is set; however, once I hit the spacebar, nothing happens.  Is this a known issue?

Just tested and all ok.  No one else has reported it so I'm assuming there must be an error in your radio settings.  The new radios can cause issues, so use the old UHF radio if needed.

Same issue here. 269.6 and no response. Thought maybe I needed to fly toward the orange line first, but that did not help.

Mission script appears to be on hold. Will re-try the mission later.

EDIT: Actually I was trying the bottom radio first, only tried the new top radio after the text disappeared. I should have tried them the other way around.

2nd attempt, same result. This time setting the top radio to 269.6. No response. Text remains on screen. Setting bottom or both radios, same.

For UHF comms you need to use the the older UHF radio, not the ARC-210, this is due to the the new radio being introduced after the campaign was built and the re-assignment of lua commands associated with each radio.

From your picture it looks like the UHF radio is set to the correct frequency but not set to manual, you have it on PRESET.  Flick the switch to MAN and should work ok.

Thanks, that fixed it.

I guess I usually use auto start, which leaves that knob in manual, so I didn't notice it when the aircraft was already hot started for this mission.
