relatively low res cockpit in VR

Had the Kiowa for a few days and generally I'm impressed and a good model to learn to operate well.

However in VR relatively speaking I find the complete front panel below par on graphics / resolution compared too ALL the other DCS Helos (I have all) and the majority of other aircraft I have too many) including the resource hog the 14B Tomcat...  This is especially true of the steam gauges.  Even the older Gazelle is way, way  better....

Kit used is a 4090, I9 10900K all OC, ROG Hero XII and 64GB RAM pushed through a Q3 with most DCS settings on high.

Overall well worth the price and a good model bar the issue above.  As for external graphics high res if if no interest to me....

For info PolyChop 🙂

That's strange. I'm using a Vive Pro 2, and the quality of the cockpit is far and above that of, say, the Huey or Hip. Now, design-wise the Gazelle's cockpit looks better to me, but that's probably because I grew up in the 70's/early 80's and am partial to that era's 'Knight Rider' / BMW 7-series black round-bezel plastic aesthetics. Resolution-wise I have no complaints - plus the Kiowa is a lot more fun to fly than than the Gazelle (her amended flight model is still too janky for me).

The same, it looks ok for me, direct picture from the goggles, full my resolution:

Its not bad and does not differ significantly from other standards.
