Hi @Tenkom

Observing your track, you fire the first missile selecting the station and pairing it with the correct DLINK channel. This is a correct launch and grants you control of the first missile. However, you then select the next missile and you fire the remaining three in sequence. I can see you trying to switch channels mid-air but are unable as you say above.

Since the implementation of this system it's only possible to switch channels pre-launch due to the need to pair the weapon with the datalink pod.

It seems you want to switch channels mid air, without pairing the missile first. This is not possible.

Thanks for explaining the pairing logic. I wasn't aware of that.
However. I still feel there is an issue here.
I've uploaded another track.
What I do here is I pair 3 of 4 missiles first. I then ripple them off. As long as I keep the 4th missile on the plane I can switch between the 3 missiles that are in the air using the WPN button on the DL page. But once I let go of the last missile that button becomes dead. Even though I have 3 paired missiles in the air that I was able to switch between before launching the last missile. This doesn't seem like intended behavior to me.
Although if you say it is then I will gladly accept that. I'll just have to make sure I always keep one missile until the other 3 have hit.

You have to select each weapon in the SMS/DL page prior to release for it to properly pair the DL pod to the missile.

I watched your track and I see you used the UFC to switch between the missiles after you had launched them all. If that is how it's supposed to be so be it. But it seems weird to me that the easy way to switch works fine for 3/4 missiles but once you launch the last one that button just becomes inoperable.

dude that's the only way to switch the channels that correspond to missiles that are in flight. The "WPN" option of the UFC is how you activate the data channels while they're still on the jet.

Because you're not actually selecting the right channels. You're dropping station 3 while having channel 7 selected on the DL page. The channels directly correspond to the station #.

You may want to try again. As long as you have one missile left on the plane you can switch between them with the wpn button. You can even see me doing it in the track I shared.
And since you can also see me switch between the 3 missiles in the track your claim here makes no sense. Maybe you didn't watch the whole track? I don't know.
