lavaskull1855 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 I'd like to say that mostly this doesn't occur but it has happened multiple times. When i do a mission and get a few kills i save the replay to make content from or whatever. Sometimes, the ai has a completely different mind in the replay so, if i turn to follow the enemy while playing, in replay the enemy might change direction or vice versa. this causes me to see to randomly shoot into nothing. Then the enemy gets on my tail and shoots a missile so the replay i recorded has changed from me shooting down 3 Migs, to me shooting into the air like a schizophrenic and getting shot down on the first plane. This is annoying for multiple reasons. Like i said before if i do something cool for content like i do a cool move or little clips for an edit, i will save the replay. But when i go back to the replay to get the best angles for clips im left with a different story from what i played, ruining the point of replaying and content. Secondly if i want to review something ive done without tacview then i simply can't. It can be very frustration. I hope this will lead to a change in how the replay system works or will stop ai from changing decisions after they have already chosen? Thank you. I will attach a clip if you don't understand what i mean. If any of you are VR uses you might know the hassle of setting it up and loading into missions. This bug is especially annoying as its very hard to recreate, even without vr. hello. unfortunately the track system has been this way literally forever. there have been some improvements over the years. and there are many posts about the same problem. there is no fix. the track system was never meant for playback for content creation. it was used as small tracks for troubleshooting for the devs. i can however give you a tip. when you want to watch the track to create the content, unplug your controllers. any movement by you will affect what the AI does. the longer the track, the more error you will see.
