carss Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Was just wondering what the status is on the other two F-14A models, one being the 95-GR, as it's been a while since we've heard anything on the matter [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick: ED pls gib A-4 and F-4
JupiterJoe Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 What about glove vanes, to differentiate the early A's from the B's? 1 Intel Core i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz - 64GB RAM - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 - Microsoft Sidewinder Force-feedback 2 - Virpil Mongoose CM-3 Throttle
r4y30n Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 No glove vanes, this has been discussed frequently and HB doesn’t consider it worth the effort. There are other visual cues. The gun vents are a good one. 1
JupiterJoe Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Then it would be a nice touch to have a newer cockpit on the B. Again, to differentiate. You spend a lot more time in the cockpit than you do looking at the exterior. Even the exhaust nozzle gauges in the B are from the A. The B does have a few things different inside the cockpit as well, so easily identified as the B, for example, take a look at the Engine Output Display (probably has an official name, but I mean the section that shows RPM, TIT and FF (in the A)). Externally, you can see the different engine exhaust ports to differentiate. I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too.

Not really any preference, I just thought you were under the impression that there was no way to tell them apart. In terms of what I'd like, I would much prefer them to fix some gameplay options over minor cosmetics though, ie, such as being able to bind to air sources so that I don't have to look down to select the Left engine intake when AAR-ing, esp since the coding (a few additional LUA lines) is already done and available (and must be re-applied at every update). 1 I'm not updating this anymore.
