Hi,

Is there a way to adjust the volume for the communication menu?

For example, I am try to call ATC either airfield or CV and the response of the sound/volume is so low to hear and I am trying to adjust audio options (volume, GUI, world,....). But none of them makes the sound louder.

Any suggestion?  Thanks.

You have to turn up the "Helmet" volume bar that should make the voices louder.. 🙂

@The_Nephilim, thanks and my "Helmet" volume  is maximum already.  Should I turn down other bars?  Thanks.

well how low are the voices? I guess you could try turning down the other bars to balance it out..

I have other bars about 90% and music is around 50%, will this setting work?  Thanks.

Hi @The_Nephilim, thanks and I will play other bars around, and "Helmet" bar is one that I should focus it.

Hi all,

got the same problem : radio com are very faint (Wingman, ATC, ...) as well as some avionics alerts (eg. GCAS). With the "Hear as in helmet" at 100% and the other audio environement at 0% You can barely hear it. Switching the "Hear as in helmet" box on or off does not change much. The rest of the audio environement is working find.

Did not have this issue with the previous with the same audio settings (ie audio helmet @ 100%, rest of it at 80%)

Any hints ?

Faint coms for me too, particularly with Phantom Jester.  Have intercom on max volume and hear like helmet too but Jester is still faint.  I would like to turn up Jester coms but no can do!

Happy landings,

If more players face the same issue and able to provide some information.  I can create an ED tech support ticket.

I have now juggled the many audio volume settings and can at last hear and understand Jester.

My solution was found when I turned down the 'volume in-cockpit' setting from 100 to 60, with my 'helmet volume' set to 100.

(World is set to 90 and overall volume set to 80)

Hope this might help others too.

P.S.  Now need to turn down the Phantom AOA warning volume in the cockpit as it is ear splitting, lol.

Happy landings,

Talisman
